One of the things that make my job so interesting is that I’m constantly meeting clients that have a variety of organizations “issues”. On a daily basis I get the opportunity to work with folks that have very different needs in their closet, bedroom, garage, den and dining room. Nothing is ever the same. That suits me just fine because I never get the opportunity to be bored!
The design team at Closet Tec is well respected in the community and pretty darn good at what we do. After all, you don’t get voted Sarasota’s Best Closet Company in 2010, 2011 and 2012/2013 without being exceptional at design. A challenge we constantly face is how do we convey design ideas to our clients? Do you want that new media center to be contemporary, traditional, eclectic or modern in style? What about colors and do you want it fabricated in melamine or wood?
On one end of the spectrum we see clients that know precisely what it is they want in their cabinetry. For those, we design exactly what they want and alert them to potential pitfalls. On the other end of the spectrum we see clients that walk in the door with a blank canvas and are totally open to any and all suggestions. For them, pictures are priceless. We have lots of internal Closet Tec resources like our picture galleries and a 3D CAD design tool that helps to convey ideas. However, I don’t like to limit my clients’ exposure to ideas. So, one great external resource that I constantly recommend is Houzz.
